In automotive circles, people are familiar with the term “concept car” that represents a prototype car that showcases new styling and/or new technology. Concept cars are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction or promote new partnerships and these cars may or may not be mass produced.
At Computex in Taiwan, SoftKinetic showcased their own concept car enabling 3D gesture technology on a mobile Tablet PC. This highlighted model combined the power and mobility of the Sahara Slate PC i500 from TabletKiosk with an integrated 3D DepthSense Camera from SoftKinetic.
